REPORTS TO: Director of Construction
HOURS: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
WORK LOCATION: Minnetonka, MN
COMPENSATION: $120k - $160k based on experience
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop, review and finalize construction documents for entitlement, permitting and construction. Maintain an adopted ownership mindset throughout the design and construction process
  • Source and contract professional service agreements for design and engineering
  • Manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, permits, and invoices
  • Coordinate design drawings for procurement of structural steel with Supply Chain Manager
  • Coordinate subcontractors/vendors; ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Communicate weekly project status to stakeholders
  • Forecast monthly revenue, cost-to-complete, and margin protection and update and review project tracking software
  • Audit document management services and creation of files for internal communication, and standard operating procedures
  • Lead all client meetings, progress updates, and contract negotiations. Responsible for project management metrics tracked on weekly basis
  • Oversee procurement, submittals, subcontractor agreements, and pay apps.
  • Resolve conflicts, proactively manage risk, and escalate when needed
  • Mentor Jr. PMs and delegate responsibilities effectively

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong negotiation and client facing communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets of $3M+
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Construction Project Management experience (5-7 years)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Procore, and Bluebeam
  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following or related areas: Construction Management, Real Estate, or Urban Planning
  • Driver's License (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Moderate travel required
