Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician Level 1 to join our team at an industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment, including hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, robots, and powder coating systems. Additionally, the technician will handle general facility maintenance tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Essential Functions:
  1. Basic Tools -Able to safely perform maintenance tasks using basic hand tools and basic power tools
  2. Basic Mechanical - Able to safely and proficiently perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and rebuild tasks
  3. Basic Electrical - Able to safely and proficiently perform basic troubleshooting and movement of electrical circuits
  4. Basic Construction - Able to safely and proficiently perform painting, dry wall, framing, and interior trim work tasks
  5. Hoists - Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/installing production hoists and maintaining bridge cranes in a timely fashion
  6. Welders - Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/installing welding equipment in a timely fashion
  7. Camber Torches - Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/installing propane and oxygen fueled torch equipment in a timely fashion
  8. Saws - Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/installing production band saw equipment in a timely fashion
  9. Plasma Cutters - Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/installing production plasma cutting equipment in a timely fashion
  10. Lighting - Able to safely and proficiently perform basic troubleshooting and installation of lighting systems and lighting fixtures throughout the facility
  11. Plumbing - Able to safely and proficiently perform basic troubleshooting and installation of plumbing systems and plumbing fixtures throughout the facility
  12. Mechanical Systems - Able to safely and proficiently maintain/troubleshoot HVAC, filtration, and pneumatic systems
  13. Fork/Aerial Lifts - Able to safely and proficiently operate fork trucks and aerial lifts
  14. Doors - Responsible for powering down, raising, and securing overhead doors
  15. Grounds - Responsible for safe and proficient operation of plowing, salting, mowing, and trimming equipment

Qualifications:

  4. Rigging - Experience rigging and moving equipment with a boom
  5. Multi Meter - Experience with a meter or other electrical test equipment
  6. Schematics - Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic prints
  7. Repair - Education/Experience with machine operation and repair
  8. Mechanicals - Experience with servicing pneumatic compressors
  9. Conveyors - Experience servicing overhead conveyor systems
  10. Coating - Experience servicing coating or blasting systems
  11. PLC - Education/Experience servicing programmable logic systems

Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active - while performing this job the team member is regularly standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day. The team member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
In addition, the team member may be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet work while performing job duties. This position requires personal protective equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are based upon the need to support operations and production. Some Saturdays will be mandatory.
