Reading, PA

Information/Data Architects are responsible for assisting in setting up the overall solution environment that solves the business problem from a data or information perspective. The information should have a basic understanding of various data and solution architectures that include leveraging structured and unstructured data.

  • The individual must be familiar with the following terms and concepts:
  • Master data management
  • Metadata management
  • Data quality
  • Business intelligence/data warehousing
  • Data interoperability
  • Analytics
  • Data integration and aggregation

The Information Architect should be able to assist in the following:

  • Set information architecture standards and methodologies.
  • Identifies the information that the Institute produces and consumes.
  • Creates the strategic requirements, principles, models and designs for information across the ecosystem.
  • Assists in the identification of user requirements
  • Defines the information architecture of the solution
  • Prepares data models, designing information structure, work-and data flow

The preferred candidate should be familiar with and have experience in developing data models.

Specific to this opportunity, the individual must be familiar with the following technologies:

  • Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • Pivotal Big Data Suite
  • Data Lakes and other Big Data Concepts with proven experience in using data lakes
  • Hadoop (Cloudera).
