Highly analytical Senior MDM Analyst specializing in Data Quality and Governance, with expertise in the Informatica product suite. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring, improving, and maintaining the integrity of our enterprise master data. You will use Informatica tools to design automated data quality rules, perform deep-dive data profiling, build dashboards to track data health, and enforce corporate data governance policies. The ideal candidate blends technical data-cleansing skills with the ability to manage data stewardship workflows and business glossaries.

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, test and deploy automated data quality rules, validation logic and parsing routines using Informatica.
  • Partner directly with cross-functional business users and data owners to translate complex business requirements into clear, technical data quality rules and validation logic.
  • Create and maintain data quality rules, profiling jobs, cleansing routines, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Configure and optimize matching, merging, and survivorship rules within Informatica MDM to build trusted golden records, including match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and data stewardship workflows.
  • Execute large-scale data cleansing and data enrichment projects to remediate data issues
  • Implement and maintain Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) components: metadata harvesting, business glossary, policy enforcement, lineage, and data discovery features.
  • Create and maintain data models, source-to-target mappings, and integration patterns between MDM and CDGC to ensure accurate metadata, lineage, and catalog synchronization.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze end-to-end data lineage and metadata catalogs to ensure transparency and compliance.
  • Assist in the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the enterprise data governance framework.
  • Provide business teams with the necessary training, documentation, and context regarding data governance processes, master data workflows, and data quality metrics.
  • Enforce data management policies, standards, and data-handling procedures across transactional and reference systems and operationalize data governance policies by mapping data elements to business terms.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance, Data Owners, business SMEs, and downstream system teams to define source-to-target mappings, data standards, and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes and performance optimizations.
  • Produce technical documentation, runbooks, data lineage, and knowledge transfer materials.

Technical Functions: 
 

  • 5+ years working in Master Data Management or data governance roles.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting MDM solutions (golden record creation, survivorship, matching and merging rules).
  • Proficiency with developing and deploying MDM match/merge workflows, survivorship, and business rules.
  • Strong SQL skills for profiling, data validation, and troubleshooting (complex joins, window functions, stored procedures).
  • Experience with SAP ECC and related modules such as CRM, and MDM.
  • Ability to bridge communication gaps between highly technical IT groups and non-technical business stakeholder.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office preferred, especially Teams, Project and SharePoint.
  • Good organization and multi-tasking skills with ability to manage multiple activities.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to process and structure qualitative and quantitative data in a way that can be shared with others to help facilitate informed business decision making.
  • Skilled at active listening, written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with peers and providing leadership or guidance as needed.
  • Must be proactive, self-starting and intrinsically motivated.

Education:
 

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or IT and 4+ years' experience in Master Data Management.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in business, supply chain, engineering or IT and 2+ years' experience in Master Data Management.
