Job description

The Video Production Specialist at our Westerville Campus is a full-time position that plays a key role in delivering a high-quality visual experience for both in-person and online audiences through video switching, camera systems, graphics integration, media playback, livestream support, and technical troubleshooting.

Working closely with the Production Manager, they will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and ongoing improvement of video production for weekend services, special events, and ministry initiatives.

We are seeking a spiritually mature, team-oriented leader who is passionate about using their gifts to serve the church. This role is best suited for a production professional who can operate effectively in live environments, maintain technical systems, and contribute to a collaborative, ministry-focused team culture.

This person thrives in collaborative settings, communicates clearly, and brings a positive, flexible attitude to the changing rhythms of ministry. They find joy in recruiting and developing volunteers and thrives in multi-cultural, multi-generational environments.

Most importantly, this individual demonstrates a genuine love for Jesus, a commitment to personal spiritual growth and a desire to help others experience God through church services and events. 


Desired qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in live video production, church production, broadcast, or event production
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of live video systems including switching, camera operation, playback, graphics, and livestream support
  • Strong understanding of video signal flow and technical troubleshooting
  • Ability to work well under pressure in live production environments
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and seasonal holiday events as required
  • Alignment with the mission, values, and culture of the church

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving in a large church, multi-campus church, broadcast environment, or live event venue
  • Familiarity with professional production systems such as Blackmagic, Ross, Canon, Sony, or similar platforms
  • Experience with presentation software such as ProPresenter
  • Understanding of streaming and encoding workflows; Resi
  • Experience with volunteer team development and training
  • Basic knowledge of networking as it relates to video systems and live production infrastructure

  • Solid understanding of live video production workflows and best practices
  • Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Strong visual judgment for camera framing, screen composition, and content presentation
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Dependable, adaptable, and calm in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to contribute positively to a ministry-centered team culture
  • Must be available for weekend services, rehearsals, and special events, including holidays.
