Registered Nurse Float Pool Mercy Hospital

The position assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

What is Enterprise Pool?

We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Common Spirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.

Enterprise Pool 1:

  • Base rate + $3.00/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
  • 1 facility – preferred location/closest to home
  • At least 2 applicable units - Must work in at least 2 applicable units with recent RN experience within unit type/specialty area
  • 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float

Enterprise Pool 2:

  • Base rate + $6.75/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
  • Assigned to one of four zones. Zone is determined based on your home location. Must be able to travel to the 4 hospitals assigned within that zone.
  • 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float

Enterprise Pool 3:

  • Flat rate $75.00/hr + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
  • Must be available to travel to all facilities (Colorado, Western Kansas, and Utah)
  • For Enterprise Pool Tier 3/Systemwide hires, dependent on location individual assignments may qualify for a $2,500 payout each. Subject to change.
  • 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float

Job Requirements:

  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact,
    • Colorado Only: RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact.   • Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to unit type or specialty area

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
