Job description

Anesthesiologist Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital

Cleveland Clinic is recruiting Staff Anesthesiologists for Mercy Hospital in Canton, OH, situated just an hour south of Cleveland. Mercy Hospital is a tertiary care center providing comprehensive perioperative anesthesia services across all surgical subspecialties, including cardiac, neurosurgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, pediatrics, ambulatory surgery, and Level 2 Trauma Services.

Our fully staffed team comprises 11 faculty anesthesiologists working alongside approximately 30 Certified Nurse Anesthetists and Clinical Anesthesiology Assistants. Additionally, all staff members have the opportunity to teach medical students from Ohio University, as well as SRNA and SAA students from Akron University and Northeast Ohio Medical University. Those interested in research can participate in clinical research supported by the Anesthesia Outcomes Research Department at our main campus.

The Akron/Canton area is an ideal location for raising a family, offering exceptional educational opportunities, high-quality healthcare, diverse cultural experiences, and a vibrant sports community. Canton is a city with a distinguished history, famed for the Football Hall of Fame, the invention of the vacuum cleaner, and is the hometown of President William McKinley.

The salary range displayed in this job posting reflects the anticipated salary range for new physicians hired into full-time (100% FTE) positions. This range is generally aligned with or below the 50th percentile of nationally recognized compensation benchmarks by specialty. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined in accordance with fair market value, considering factors such as professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history, and FTE. This stated range excludes the value of Cleveland Clinic's comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.

Pay Range

Minimum salary: $500,000

Maximum salary: $559,500
