Job description

Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri, is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join their hospital-employed group. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice with autonomy in a rural regional hospital while benefiting from easy transfers to a Level I Trauma Center nearby in Springfield. Physicians will experience a variety of shifts, patients, and procedures, supported by a stable and loyal team, ensuring a great work/life balance.

Practice Info

  • Hospital-employed group with guaranteed shifts and hours, no partnership track/buy-in, and equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one.
  • Mercy Hospital Springfield is an 886-bed, Level I, tertiary trauma, and catchment hospital for four states, with 80,000+ annual ED visits and ~2pph.
  • Mercy Hospital Lebanon is a 50-bed hospital with a 19-bed ED, 25k-30k annual visits, and <2pph.
  • The Springfield ED has 14 physician shifts each day, 80 emergency department beds, and an 11-bed pediatric emergency department plus PICU.
  • The Lebanon ED has three physician shifts and one APP shift each day, with 24/7 OB and surgery coverage.
  • EPIC EMR is used across Mercy.

Compensation

  • Minimum of $260/hour plus wRVUs (group average $297/hour)
  • $150,000 recruitment bonus plus paid relocation
  • Guaranteed shifts, hours, and hourly rate
