Manages scheduling and coordinates work of all staff to ensure optimum and efficient maintenance of office operations and standards. Oversees patient scheduling and communications, insurance, billing ad budget control. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:Mercy Hospice Office ManagerMonday - Friday 8a-4:30p1630 Des Peres Rd Suite 305Des Peres, MO 63131Overview: This position is responsible for overseeing the back-office work from referral through to discharge, ensuring full payment is received, minimizing errors, and loss of revenue. Education: Requires two years college education or equivalentExperience preferred:
  • Hospice
  • Supervisory and medical office experience
  • Business or management, with background in medical terminology and aptitude in secretarial and accounting procedures
  • Requires strong communication skills and diplomacy
