San Francisco, CA 94103 | CA Guard Card required

About This Role

We're looking for a security officer who brings both professionalism and presence to one of San Francisco's premier luxury retail flagships. This isn't a static post - you'll be the first face guests encounter and the calm authority in the room when things get busy. Crowd control is a core part of this role, and the ability to manage high-traffic situations confidently and calmly is a must.

You'll work alongside a close-knit team in an upscale, client-facing environment where your judgment and presence matter just as much as your credentials. We're looking for candidates with at least 3 years of retail security experience. If you also have a background in law enforcement, military, corrections, or hospitality security - and you take pride in doing the job right - we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Be a visible, welcoming presence at the entrance and throughout the floor - greeting guests while staying alert to what's happening around you
  • Manage guest flow during regular hours, peak periods, and product launches or special events
  • Identify and de-escalate disruptive behavior with calm, direct communication
  • Handle access control, log deliveries, and track high-value merchandise accurately
  • Partner with store leadership on incident reporting and day-to-day operational needs
  • Represent the store's standard of professionalism in every interaction - appearance and conduct included
What We're Looking For
  • Valid California Guard Card (BSIS-issued) - required before your first day
  • Background in law enforcement, military, corrections, security, or door/crowd control - strongly preferred
  • Experience in high-volume public environments: retail, hospitality, events, or similar
  • Sharp situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to handle confrontation professionally
  • Reliable transportation and a consistent track record of showing up on time
