Bank Referral Account Executive Needed
Celero Commerce is looking for a Bank Referral Account Executive to join our team in the Knoxville or Chattanooga, TN region! This is a fast-paced, high-energy opportunity for a goal-oriented sales professional who thrives on building relationships and exceeding targets. In this role, you'll generate new customer sales leads through financial institution and partner referrals, engage bankers and referral partners to cultivate strong relationships, and identify cross-sell opportunities with current and former clients to help meet monthly sales goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with assigned financial institution and referral partners to generate a high volume of quality leads aligned with performance goals.
  • Follow up on and close leads provided by assigned financial institution and referral partners while meeting expectations for close ratios, account growth, and profitability.
  • Proactively source additional opportunities by reaching out to former clients and local businesses to support monthly goals for leads, proposals, applications, new merchants, and sales volume.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity, pipeline, and account information in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, products, pricing, company offerings, and other relevant information to effectively position Celero in the market.
  • Attend and participate in job-related training, classes, and webinars to continue building product and industry knowledge.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including applicable safety standards.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience & Requirements:
  • Knoxville or Chattanooga, TN - based region
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience or banking experience working with business clients; experience in payments or merchant services strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with referral partners, relationship-based sales channels, or territory-based production models preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and pipeline management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and territory management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
  • Analytical ability to review merchant statements, pricing structures, and financial data.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, including mastering company systems and external processing platforms.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Regular travel within the region.
