Job description

RH is seeking an Project Leader, Inventory Operations to lead the operational execution, inventory strategy and merchandising standards for our Design Atelier and swatches across our Galleries. As a key cross-functional partner, you will drive inventory accuracy, elevate visual merchandising execution and create scalable processes that support Gallery teams while ensuring a consistent and exceptional client experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the strategy and execution of Gallery Design Ateliers and swatch displays, ensuring assortment integrity, operational excellence and elevated visual standards.
  • Drive swatch inventory accuracy and availability across Galleries and Distribution Centers through effective replenishment, inventory controls and reporting.
  • Collaborate across Merchandising, Planning, Store Planning, Inventory Control and Operations to optimize swatch assortments, allocations and inventory flow.
  • Elevate the Design Atelier experience by ensuring swatch assortments and merchandising materials are current, organized and aligned with RH brand standards.
  • Champion clear communication across Galleries and Distribution Centers to ensure seamless execution of swatch initiatives, assortment updates and inventory priorities.
  • Lead Design Atelier execution for new Gallery openings, from planning and allocation through installation and final inventory reconciliation.
  • Improve processes through cross-functional partnership, creative problem-solving and data-driven insights that simplify execution and elevate the Gallery and client experience.

OUR REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years of experience in retail operations, visual merchandising, inventory management, merchandising operations or a related field, 
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience using Excel to analyze large datasets and translate insights into action.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on simplifying complex processes, improving operational execution and delivering high-quality results.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning, innovation and operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with InDesign, Canva, inventory management platforms and MicroStrategy is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 
  • Frequent periods working at a computer and reviewing inventory data, plans and operational materials
  • Frequent movement throughout Gallery and Design Atelier environments during installations, inventories and operational reviews
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending and reaching while supporting swatch displays, inventories and Gallery openings
  • Occasional lifting and moving of swatches, samples and related materials up to 25 pounds
  • Periodic travel to Galleries, Distribution Centers and other RH locations, as required
