You will be celebrated for your design thinking, teamwork, and impact, with initiatives like 'Euro Style Wins' and inspiring newsletters. From onboarding to recognition, your contributions shape both our culture and the spaces we create.
Reports to: Sr Product Development Coordinator
Location: San Rafael, CA (Hybrid - 2-3 days/week in-office)
About the role:
Euro Style is looking for a Product Development Specialist to support the full product lifecycle - from factory communication and sample coordination to merchandising support and marketing collaboration. This role sits at the intersection of buying, product development, and brand storytelling, giving you broad exposure across the business.
In your first 6-12 months, you will establish reliable workflows with factory partners, ensure product data accuracy across internal systems, and contribute to at least one tradeshow cycle from sample planning through on-site execution. You will also identify opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks and improve how product information flows to cross-functional teams.
This is a lean team. You will own a lot, move fast, and make decisions with full end-to-end responsibility.
What You'll Do
  • Manage communication with factories regarding quotations, specifications, product updates, sample schedules, and all product development milestones
  • Coordinate with factories and the overseas office to ensure product information is accurate and up to date in internal systems
  • Plan and track sample orders for tradeshows, ensuring deadlines are met on sample deliveries and logistics
  • Travel domestically to trade shows to assist with setup and gather feedback from sales reps and customers
  • Distribute new and current product information to Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, eCommerce, and Purchasing teams
  • Maintain the mini showroom - keep it clean, organized, and rotated with the latest samples
  • Work directly with retail customers (e.g., The Container Store, AllModern) on product developments for sampling and mass production
  • Support the Marketing/Graphics team on catalog projects, product image updates, photoshoots, and social media content scheduling
  • Convert product assembly instructions from factory versions to Euro Style branded versions and keep instructions updated on the website
  • Review and record inventory for tradeshows and coordinate product transfers and shipping as needed
  • Serve as backup for the Imports team (receiving containers, creating invoices, B/L) and for Customer Service on product-related inquiries

Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in furniture buying, merchandising, product development, or retail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication, especially with external partners and factory contacts
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and data management fundamentals
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to pitch in across functions as needed
  • Genuine interest in furniture design and home decor trends
  • Ability to lift furniture and materials up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for up to 2 hours per day

Preferred Qualifications
  • Furniture or home goods industry experience
  • Social media management or content creation experience
  • Background in design, visual arts, or graphic tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe)
  • Familiarity with machine learning tools or genuine curiosity about applying them to buying, merchandising, and data workflows
