Nestled in the Texas Hill Country above Lake LBJ, Escondido Golf & Lake Club is one of Texas's most prestigious private clubs — home to a Tom Fazio-designed course ranked Top 10 in the state and a member community defined by genuine warmth, world-class service, and a culture that feels more like family than a workplace.


We're looking for an Assistant Merchandise Manager ready to grow. This is a hands-on development role — you'll train directly under our Merchandise Manager, learn the full buying-to-retail cycle, and build the skills to become a Merchandise Manager in your own right.


What You'll Do

  • Assist with day-to-day golf shop operations
  • Provide outstanding service to members and guests
  • Learn buying, merchandising & open-to-buy procedures
  • Maintain shop displays and product presentation
  • Receive and check in incoming merchandise
  • Support inventory processes and monthly reporting
  • Work with golf pros on tournament merchandise
  • Handle special orders and member requests
  • Operate and support POS systems
  • Assist with seasonal changeovers and events
  • Support billing and accounting submissions
  • Help train golf shop salespersons
