Job description

Essential Duties

  • Coordinate between MEP BIM Modeling team and Multi-Craft MEP project team.
  • Coordinate MEP systems with structural, architectural, and other trade models.
  • Perform clash detection using Navisworks or similar software and resolve conflicts before installation.
  • Lead or participate in MEP coordination meetings.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Generate and track RFIs related to coordination issues.
  • Coordinate the production of spool drawings and fabrication packages.
  • Support prefabrication efforts through accurate modeling.
  • Coordinated the production of installation drawings for field crews.
  • Assist field teams with constructability reviews and issue resolution.
  • Verify model accuracy and compliance with company BIM standards.
  • Train and support field and office personnel on BIM tools and workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • 3–7 years of BIM/VDC experience in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
