Job Title: Cook
Location: Georgia Regional Hospital Savannah
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner for meal service periods
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, grills, steamers, and fryers
  • Assist with menu planning and portion control as needed
  • Coordinate with food service staff to ensure smooth meal service
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work area
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and health department regulations

Requirements
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant, cafeteria, healthcare facility, or similar setting
  • Knowledge of food safety principles and proper cooking techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
