Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Café Manager to oversee daily café operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for residents, staff, and guests. This role is responsible for managing menu development, food preparation, purchasing, inventory, sanitation, staffing, and financial performance while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of dining service experience to include front and back of the house.
  • Degree in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Strong leadership, planning, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a management team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
  • Flexible schedule availability (including weekends/holidays as needed)
  • Valid Chester County Food Handler's License or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire

Physical Requirements
  • Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Position is a working position, with the majority of time spent on the floor.
