Cafe Monet, a new concept from KNEAD Hospitality + Design, is seeking skilled and motivated Line Cooks to join our opening team in McLean, VA. This is an opportunity to be part of a new restaurant from day one, working alongside a passionate culinary team focused on quality, consistency, and execution.

Position Overview
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items with precision and consistency. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, organization, and teamwork are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute dishes according to established recipes and plating standards
  • Maintain proper mise en place and station organization at all times
  • Ensure food quality, seasoning, and presentation meet company standards
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Communicate clearly with chefs and team members during service
  • Assist with prep and setup for service as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
  • Support teammates to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of kitchen experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume or scratch kitchens is a plus
