This role will be based in a fully remote setting, providing the flexibility to work from any location while maintaining connectivity with our interdisciplinary team. Our outpatient office environment is structured to facilitate collaborative strategies in delivering therapy. Team members utilize secure digital platforms for virtual therapy sessions, ensuring client confidentiality and comfort.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that align with each client's specific goals. Regularly evaluate progress to adjust treatment modalities as necessary.
• Deliver ongoing emotional support to assist clients in navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and stress management.
• Organize and facilitate group therapy sessions that foster social connections and peer support among participants.
• Continually pursue professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills in relevant areas, such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or grief therapy.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing mental health challenges across various demographics and backgrounds. Understanding the unique psychosocial factors impacting each client is essential, as is applying therapeutic techniques that respect their cultural contexts. The goal is to foster resilience and empower clients to achieve their mental health goals.

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current California State LMHC license is mandatory.
• The candidate must demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, along with a commitment to cultural competence.
• A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment is essential.
• Capacity to identify and respond to high-risk psychosocial factors affecting clients’ overall health and wellbeing.

• At least 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role or related field.
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling methodologies.
• Experience in specific therapeutic modalities and populations such as addiction, trauma, or grief.
• Demonstrated experience in group facilitation and community-based mental health initiatives.
