At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range for this position is $18.13 - $26.96, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.
**Merrimack Health is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $6,000 for this Mental Health Associate role**
Position Summary:
The Mental Health Associate (MHA) is responsible for performing duties necessary to maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu. Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the MHA will assist the nurse with care of patients whose needs do not require complex nursing skills.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High School Graduate or GED.
  • Experience: Experience or training in the mental health or medical field preferred.
  • Certification/Licensure:
    • BLS
    • COAP within 30 days of onboarding
  • Other: Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search. Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.
