Qualifications of an ideal Memory Care Director:

  • Combination of education and/or experience in Memory Care, Dementia Care or Alzheimer's
  • 2-3 years of experiencing programming in a Senior Living environment or similar
  • First Aid & CPR Certified
  • At least 3-5 years of related work experience as a Memory Care Director

Memory Care Director Job Summary:

Memory Care Director is responsible for developing and executing the Meet Me Where I Am approach to Memory Care utilizing all program components to maximize quality Resident care.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing Quality Assurance program and provide appropriate plans of action to correct any identified deficiencies.
  • Actively plan, develop, and implement expansion and/or innovation in program services.
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, counseling, and directing the staff in Lilac Trace
  • Communicate and work with Families and Residents of Lilac Trace to update on issues and developments.
