Membership Sales AssociateAbout HOTWORX Asheville

HOTWORX is a 24/7 infrared fitness studio that combines heat, exercise, and virtual instruction to create a unique and motivating fitness experience.

We are looking for an outgoing, motivated, and dependable Membership Sales Associate to join our Asheville team!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, working toward measurable goals, and being rewarded for their performance.

The primary objective of this role is to continually acquire new members while providing an exceptional experience that encourages current members to stay engaged and retain their membership.

What You'll DoDrive Membership Sales

A major focus of this position is helping grow our membership base.

You will:

  • Respond to and consistently follow up with prospective members

  • Contact leads by phone, text, and other approved communication methods

  • Build relationships with prospective members and identify their fitness and wellness goals

  • Conduct engaging studio tours

  • Explain HOTWORX memberships, workouts, services, and benefits

  • Confidently ask for the sale and help prospective members select the membership that best fits their needs

  • Follow established sales processes and prospecting expectations

  • Maintain accurate lead and client tracking information

  • Follow up with new members and guests to encourage continued engagement

  • Work toward individual membership sales goals

  • Contribute to the overall growth of the HOTWORX Asheville membership base

Deliver an Exceptional Member Experience

We believe great customer service plays an important role in member retention.

You will:

  • Greet every member and guest with a positive, welcoming attitude

  • Make members feel recognized, supported, and motivated

  • Answer questions about HOTWORX workouts, memberships, the app, and studio services

  • Provide proper sauna and workout guidance within the scope of your training

  • Encourage participation in HOTWORX programs and challenges

  • Assist members with questions following their workouts

  • Provide recommendations on hydration, gear, and retail products

  • Professionally handle member concerns and help create positive solutions

  • Maintain HOTWORX customer service standards at all times

Retail Sales

Membership Sales Associates also play a role in driving retail sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learning about HOTWORX retail products and being able to confidently explain them to members

  • Recommending products based on member needs

  • Working toward individual retail sales goals

  • Staying informed about new products and promotions

Social Media & Content Responsibilities

Membership Sales Associates will assist with maintaining an active and engaging social media presence for HOTWORX Asheville.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Create and post assigned social media content

  • Capture photos and videos within the studio for use on social media

  • Participate in photo and video content when requested

  • Help highlight workouts, memberships, products, promotions, studio life, and other relevant content

  • Create engaging Instagram Stories, Reels, posts, or other assigned content

  • Assist with responding to or engaging with social media activity as assigned

  • Share ideas for content, promotions, and ways to connect with the local community

  • Complete assigned social media posts consistently and on schedule

You do not need to be a professional influencer or content creator, but you should be comfortable using social media and willing to be creative, appear in content when needed, and help showcase the HOTWORX Asheville experience online.

Support the Studio

While sales and member experience are the primary focus of this position, every team member is responsible for helping maintain a professional and welcoming studio environment.

You will:

  • Complete opening and closing responsibilities

  • Follow assigned cleaning checklists and studio standards

  • Help maintain clean, organized workout spaces and equipment

  • Complete assigned daily tasks and checklists

  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with HOTWORX standards

  • Arrive on time and be prepared to work each scheduled shift

  • Participate in required team meetings and training

Compensation & Benefits

This is a part-time position paying $16–$19 per hour, based on experience.

In addition to hourly pay, Membership Sales Associates will have the opportunity to earn quarterly performance-based bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.

Required Training

Employees will be required to complete HOTWORX training and assigned educational programs, including HOTWORX University courses and other team or corporate training as assigned.
