About the Role
As a Membership Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for selling memberships, building relationships, and delivering an exceptional experience. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, coachable, and eager to grow into a leadership position. What You'll Do
  • Drive membership sales by educating customers on the benefits of routine wellness care
  • Build strong relationships with dog parents and provide outstanding customer service
  • Promote and schedule first-time visits to introduce customers to our services
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
  • Ensure dog safety protocols are always followed to provide a stress-free experience for pets
  • There will be direct hands-on experience with bathing required

Tasks
  • Drive membership sales through health and wellness education
  • Drive key performance indicators - average ticket price and rebook ratio - through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
  • Develop membership leads; Follow up with potential members
  • Support in scheduling customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records
  • Manage customer expectations; Resolve customer concerns; Retain memberships
  • Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices - keep the reception area clean and presentable
  • Working directly with dogs and performing services including baths, ear cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning on occasion
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager

Skills and Abilities
  • Confidence in selling services and products
  • Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human!) and provide outstanding customer service
  • Ability to practice proper dog safety and dog handling
  • Ability to perform basic dog services including baths, ear cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning on occasion
  • Ability to learn our products and services to educate the dog parents; speak to our values and culture as the basis for our services
  • Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone)
