Boca Paddle by CityPickle, slated to open in mid-November, is a premier racquet sports and lifestyle destination redefining how people play, connect, and unwind. Located in Boca Raton, the club blends world-class pickleball and padel with elevated hospitality, offering member-driven experience anchored by exceptional service, vibrant community, and best-in-class facilities.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Membership Manager to lead membership sales, engagement, retention, and community-building efforts from pre-opening through ongoing operations. This position reports directly to the General Manager of Boca Paddle.

The Membership Manager will be responsible for building, growing, and managing the club's membership base while delivering an exceptional experience for current members. This role combines sales, relationship management, event coordination, and operational oversight to help establish Boca Paddle as the premier racquet sports community in South Florida.

The ideal candidate is highly personable, organized, entrepreneurial, and passionate about hospitality, wellness, sports, and community.

Responsibilities:

Membership Sales & Growth

  • Drive membership acquisition through tours, outreach, networking, partnerships, and lead follow-upย 
  • Manage the full membership sales process from inquiry through onboarding, using technology to leverage sales opportunities and reduce labor needs
  • Develop and execute membership campaigns, promotions, and referral initiatives
  • Build relationships with local businesses, residential communities, and community groups
  • Collaborate with General Manager to set membership targets. Maintain accurate membership records
  • Oversee membership onboarding processes and ensure a seamless new member experience
  • Manage membership account administration including freezes, renewals, billing coordination, and policy enforcement
  • Maintain organized waitlists, member communications, and membership-related operational workflows
  • Escalate and help resolve member concerns while maintaining a high-touch hospitality experience
  • Support recurring membership reporting focused on acquisition, retention, engagement, and utilization trends
Member Experience & Retention
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for members and prospective members
  • Create a welcoming, high-touch club atmosphere
  • Develop retention strategies and member engagement initiatives
  • Address member questions and feedback promptly and professionally
Programming & Community Building
  • Collaborate with the programming and operations teams to develop and execute on leagues, clinics, tournaments, and social events to help cultivate a strong social community around pickleball and padel
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in membership sales, hospitality, fitness, private clubs, or related fields
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet sales and retention goals
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Passion for pickleball and padel, wellness, hospitality, or community-building is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
