About Cutalong at Tributer Resort:

Located on Lake Anna in Mineral, Virginia, Cutalong at Tributer Resort spans 1,400 acres and is poised to become a premier destination in Virginia, the Mid-Atlantic region, and beyond. The resort's planned amenities include a spa & wellness center, multiple restaurants, social and conference meeting space and a rich array of resort activities, all anchored by the prestigious Cutalong Golf Club, and forthcoming Wares Crossroads development.

Position Summary:

The Membership Director is responsible for driving membership growth, managing the full lifecycle of member engagement, and leading sales efforts within a premier private golf club community. This role blends relationship-driven hospitality with strategic sales execution, ensuring an exceptional member experience while achieving revenue goals tied to both club memberships and residential property sales.

This position blends membership development, member communications, concierge-style services, and cross-departmental support, requiring strong judgment, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve annual membership sales targets.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and guide them through the membership process.
  • Own all member-facing communications, including newsletters, announcements, development updates, event communications, social media collaboration, and in-person engagement.
  • Serve as a visible, trusted presence within the community through direct interaction with members and guests.
  • Lead membership development efforts, including outreach, tours, presentations, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Serve as the primary member services and concierge function, assisting with reservations, transportation coordination, lodging arrangements, and lifestyle-related requests.
  • Work closely with golf operations, hospitality, events, marketing, real estate, and community services to ensure a seamless, integrated member experience.
  • Provide direct support to the General Manager, ownership, and other departments as directed, particularly during development, construction, and pre-opening phases.
  • Capture and share member feedback to inform operations, programming, amenities, and service enhancements.
  • Act as a key ambassador for Cutalong at Tributer Resort, representing the brand at events, tournaments, and community functions.
  • Plan and host membership events, preview weekends, and VIP experiences for prospects.
  • Build relationships with local and regional networks to enhance visibility and attract qualified buyers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in membership, communications, concierge services, sales, or guest engagement within a luxury residential community, private club, or high-end hospitality environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter mentality, with the ability to operate independently and take ownership in an evolving organization.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and supporting needs beyond a narrowly defined role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and work-related travel.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a mentor-oriented approach.
  • Professional, service-driven demeanor with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

As a valued member of the CoralTree team, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
  • Participation in a pre-tax flexible benefit plan for healthcare and dependent care reimbursement
  • An employee assistance program.
  • Paid time off/sick time
  • Participation in a 401(k) plan with a company match.
  • Team Member Free Room Night Program.

Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, building vibrant communities, and shaping the future of travel and hospitality.
