Job Description

Directs the Team Member relations function. Establishes and maintains open communication channels with Team Members, develops Team Member relations programs and ensures consistent application of company policies and procedures. Assists with the administration of the EDRICK Team Member review process.

  Establishes and maintains effective communication channels with Team Members. 

Counsels and advises Team Members and management to resolve work-related disputes. May investigate and audit personnel to determine validity and scope of an employee-related work issue. 

As assigned by the Human Resources Director; advises management team regarding discipline and termination related matters. 

Ensures consistent application of policies and procedures regarding disciplinary matters and recommends changes to policies and/or procedures as appropriate. 

Serves as the Team Member advocate and may be required to bring issues to the attention of the Human Resources Director and/or senior property management, as appropriate. 

Administers the Employee Disciplinary Review Committee program; investigates, assists and represents the Team Member during the review. 

Maintains a high degree of confidentiality. 

May coordinate and provide referrals for employee assistance programs. 

Develops and implements Team Member relations and communication programs, Team Member activities and Team Member recognition programs. 

Spends approximately 25% to 50% of time "in direct interaction with Team Members. 

Provides the Human Resources Director with weekly and monthly reports of Team Member-related issues/moral, based on observations and communication with Team Members.

Qualifications

  3-5 Years HR experience with focus on Team Member relations. 

Solid leadership skills and business understanding of human resources impact on bottom line performance. 

Extensive knowledge in HR legal compliance, Team Member Relations, culture and communications. 

Exceptional negotiation/mediation skills 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
