Mega Motion Physical Therapy Center is seeking a motivated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Fairview, New Jersey. In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical abilities and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patients' rehabilitation goals and medical protocols.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities catered to orthopedic conditions, ensuring a comprehensive approach to recovery.
• Monitor patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention and management strategies, enhancing their understanding of their conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and facilitate seamless communication.

This position primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will also have opportunities to work with pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, allowing you to diversify your practice and expand your expertise across various age groups and conditions. Your efforts will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their functional goals, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current and valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, motivating them throughout their treatment journey.

While we welcome applicants with varying levels of experience, candidates with two or more years of clinical practice in orthopedics or rehabilitation settings are preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and specific therapy modalities is advantageous, as it will enhance your ability to provide effective care.
