Job description

Position Overview:
Oncology Specialists of Texas is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, support providers and staff, and help drive an exceptional patient experience across a specialized women’s health, MedSpa and oncology practice. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong leadership, operational experience, and a hands-on understanding of medical practice workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily front office and clinical operations to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Lead, support, and coach administrative and clinical support staff
  • Manage scheduling, staffing coordination, and office efficiency
  • Monitor billing workflows, insurance processes, and revenue cycle coordination
  • Perform billing duties as needed/required
  • Maintain payer contracts and credentialing for all providers
  • Identify opportunities to negotiate optimal payer reimbursement rates
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies
  • Improve systems, processes, and patient experience initiatives
  • Partner closely with physicians on practice growth and operational priorities
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of practice management experience with degree, or 5+ years without degree
  • Experience in gynecology, oncology, women’s health, or other specialty medical practice strongly preferred
  • Medical billing / revenue cycle experience required
  • Payer contracting and credentialing experience required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
