Job description

Registered Nurse - Phone Triage - Outpatient

Specialty practice focused on Metabolic Medicine, Thyroid, Diabetes, and Endocrinology

Patient education role primarily conducted via phone, with potential for in-person education

In-person education responsibilities may include instruction on glucose meters and Ozempic shot administration

Additional duties include confirming prior authorizations, calling in refills, and managing lab orders

8-week contract with extensions based on practice needs and performance

Temp-to-permanent opportunity

Candidates must be willing to convert to a permanent full-time employee (FTE) position

FTE pay for candidates with 1-5 years of experience is most likely between $38-$40/hour

Monday through Friday

9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Plainsboro, NJ

EPIC EMR experience is required

Initial Teams (video) interview

Followed by a one-hour in-person shadow with triage nurses

PennChart training for Ambulatory RNs

HIPAA training required

Compliance documentation is due the Wednesday before the start date

Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the position

Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award

Candidates who do not begin compliance requirements within 72 hours are at risk of contract cancellation
