THE ROLE:

The Senior MEDITECH Consultant provides consulting services to clients on MEDITECH-related projects, clinically based as a subject matter expert, to deliver solutions to achieve defined benefits. The Senior MEDITECH Consultant will work with the MEDITECH Consulting Services team, Practice Managers, and Directors to support solution development, address complex client concerns, and provide exceptional on-site solution delivery based upon the needs of Nordic clients. The Senior MEDITECH Consultant can communicate well with project leaders, managers, and team leaders, as well as other team members, end-users, and vendors to ensure a productive and cooperative environment. If this sounds like you, here are a couple things you'll need:

  • Three or more years of hands-on MEDITECH IT experience
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
Key Responsibilities

The Senior MEDITECH Consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Perform healthcare enabling technology related consulting services for Nordic clients
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in their MEDITECH domain area(s)
  • Participate in build, implementation, strategic planning, and readiness assessment projects as assigned by VP and /or Practice Director
  • Apply technical expertise to individual client system build in order to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems
  • Mentor client project teams in project delivery and system build strategy
  • Track and document risks and issues
  • Analyze and document workflows, as well as provide optimization suggestions
  • Work closely with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation of solutions
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, complete gap analysis and recommendations, and contribute to the development of a summary report to be presented to the client
  • Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols, creating and maintaining all documentation for all assigned applications, and developing, planning, and executing testing for supported applications
  • Additional specific duties related to the project as may be required and dictated by individual clients
  • May be asked to lead Nordic projects as appropriate applying the skills and qualifications outlined in the Project Lead role description
  • Work on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested
