Job description

Position Summary: Conduct scheduling operations within Fulcrum. The Transportation Scheduler – Fulcrum is responsible for the daily workload of scheduling and insurance benefit verification. The Transportation Scheduler – Fulcrum will report to the Operations Manager - Fulcrum.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct scheduling operations and insurance benefit verification

  • Review patient insurance benefits for verification purposes

  • Determine the appropriate payor for patient trips

  • Accurately and efficiently schedule trips

  • Maintain professional relationships with facilities and providers

  • Evaluate effectiveness of trip scheduling and provider performance

  • Ensure effective communication through company software between facilities and providers

  • Ensure the execution of quality operations through daily communication
