Avis Alaska is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to help lead operations at our Anchorage Airport and Midtown locations. As an Anchorage Area Assistant Manager, you will work directly with the Anchorage City Manager to oversee daily operations, support team performance, and ensure an exceptional rental experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Support the Anchorage City Manager in overseeing operations at the Anchorage Airport and Midtown locations.
  • Help manage staffing levels, scheduling, and operational performance.
  • Ensure vehicles are cleaned, prepared, and available to meet customer demand.

Customer & Guest Experience

  • Provide excellent service to travelers renting vehicles.
  • Assist customers at the rental counter and resolve service concerns.
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction standards consistent with hospitality industry best practices.

Sales & Revenue Performance

  • Promote rental upgrades and additional travel products.
  • Support team members in achieving sales and service goals.
  • Monitor operational metrics and help improve location performance.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Assist in coaching rental agents and service staff.
  • Support training initiatives and employee development.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Compensation

Total Annual Earnings Potential: $70,000+
