Job description

Nextaff is hiring an experienced Medical Office Receptionist to work with our client, a busy primary care medical practice in Tampa, FL. As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will be greeting & checking in patients, processing co-pays, answering telephone calls and fielding inquiries regarding scheduling, prescription refills, billing, and other general patient questions and ensuring patient notes are updated. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire assignment, with a Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM schedule, and a path to earning a permanent position with benefits with our client!

What We Need From You:
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a primary care medical practice environment
  • You have knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
  • You have experience documenting in and updating patient data in EHR application (experience with eClinicalWorks strongly preferred)
  • You are friendly, outgoing, bi-lingual (English & Spanish), and enjoy solving problems
  • Background and drug screening required
