Position Title : Operations Coordinator
Location: Houston, TX
Assignment Type: 3-month contract with potential for contract-to-hire
Compensation : $22 - $23 / Hr
Work Schedul e: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting inventory accuracy and billing compliance through detailed review, reconciliation, and coordination across internal teams and external vendors. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that received materials, system records, and invoicing align correctly, while identifying discrepancies and maintaining high standards of accuracy. The position requires strong attention to detail, adaptability to new systems, and the ability to work independently in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Label all pallets upon receipt to ensure accurate identification and tracking.
  • Review contracts and verify that parts listed in internal systems align with physical inventory.
  • Reconcile inventory records with received materials and flag discrepancies when mismatches occur.
  • Ensure the motor assembly team follows system records and verified inventory listings.
  • Submit grease-related materials and items requiring additional services for review or appeal to the appropriate internal department.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and ensure proper processing according to billing codes.
  • Follow up with vendors to confirm correct totals and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Understand and manage processing timelines, including delays that may impact payment schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records throughout the inventory and billing process.
  • Adapt to and utilize newly implemented systems while supporting ongoing process improvements.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation and data reviews.
  • Perform additional administrative or support tasks as assigned.

Role Requirements

  • Comfortable working outdoors and walking in hot conditions as part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in an administrative, inventory, billing, or coordination role.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools.
  • Experience with inventory systems, billing processes, or data reconciliation preferred.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
