Adjunct faculty member to teach one or more classes in a designated area.
Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University's Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission as a Catholic and Lasallian institution of higher education.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Current Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or equivalent healthcare credential.
• Minimum (3) years of recent professional experience working in a medical office, healthcare administration, or medical assisting role.
• Demonstrated experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology platforms.
• Strong knowledge of:
o HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
o Medical terminology
o Insurance verification and billing processes
o Appointment scheduling and practice management
o Patient communication and customer service
o Healthcare office procedures and workflows
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time teaching experience in healthcare, allied health, or health science education OR demonstrated experience providing workforce development instruction in a healthcare or related setting.
• Experience teaching adult learners, workforce development participants, or career training students preferred.
• Ability to prepare lesson plans, deliver classroom instruction, evaluate student progress, and support students preparing for industry certification exams (such as the NHA CMAA exam).
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
