Lien Negotiator Analyst
Department: Medical Negotiations

Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 / hour
Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lien Negotiator/Analyst to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, legal processes related to personal injury, and excellent negotiation skills.
As a Lien Negotiator in our Medical Lien Negotiations department, you will be responsible for finalizing the case and providing clients with the best recovery possible by negotiating post-settlement liens including health insurance liens, hospital liens, private medical provider liens, and state and federal medical provider liens.
Responsibilities:
  • Review medical liens and outstanding bills related to personal injury cases.
  • Communicate and negotiate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other lien holders to resolve liens and reduce debts.
  • Ensure that all medical billings are tracked, accurate, and accounted for.
  • Create closing documents and financial trust sheets, as well as draft client communications.
  • Remain in contact with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Stay informed of client files and update data accordingly.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury law and medical billing processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a highly motivated individual and exhibit professionalism.
