Insurance Defense / Medical Malpractice Law Firm
(Downtown Long Beach, CA)
Minimum 2 to 6 years of recent civil litigation experience required
(Insurance Defense and Medical Malpractice experience preferred)

Experience Required:
โ€ข Must have knowledge of: Word, WordPerfect, Outlook, Adobe, Lexis Hot Docs
โ€ข Type minimum 70 wpm
โ€ข Heavy transcription and telephones (scheduling depositions, meetings, etc.)
โ€ข Good phone etiquette, organizational and communication skills
โ€ข Strong calendaring skills and knowledge of court filing deadlines and procedures
โ€ข Compilation and filing of Motions (including Summary Judgment), and all civil litigation pleadings
โ€ข Highly motivated, conscientious, detail oriented, self starter
โ€ข Proven ability to work productively in a high pressure, fast pace environment
