ABOUT THE ROLE
The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is looking for a California Medical Malpractice Attorney to help grow this practice area.
We are looking for someone who knows how to evaluate medical malpractice cases, review medical records, work with experts, and move cases forward.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Review and evaluate medical malpractice claims
Analyze medical records, treatment history, liability, causation, and damages
Work with medical experts and consultants
Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions
Manage case deadlines and help prepare cases for trial
Support and guide paralegals and legal staff working on these matters
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Active California Bar license required
Medical malpractice experience strongly preferred
Strong civil litigation experience
Experience working with medical records and experts
Good writing, communication, organization, and case management skills
Ability to move cases forward and help build this practice area
This is a good opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation work and a leadership role in a growing medical malpractice practice.
