Responsibilities:
1. Handling a full caseload of medical malpractice cases, from inception through trial or resolution.
2. Conducting thorough and thoughtful analysis of complex legal issues related to medical malpractice and healthcare law.
3. Interacting with clients to keep them informed about the progress of their cases and to answer their questions and concerns.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
5. Representing clients in court, at depositions, and at other necessary proceedings.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the smooth running of our legal office.
7. Staying updated on the latest changes in medical malpractice and insurance defense law to provide the most accurate advice to clients.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Current license to practice law in PA
3. A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
