A Guerneville, California based client is seeking a Family Practice Physician to serve as the Medical Director for a community health center. This will be a mixed clinical and administrative role. An ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience or more and leadership experience. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current CA state medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • 5 years of experience as a primary care physician
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance to medical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, offering insights and recommendations on complex medical cases and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the organization's mission and vision.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical programs, quality improvement initiatives, and patient care pathways.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standard of care delivery.
