Interns may work in various areas such as research and development, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or engineering. The goal is to give participants practical exposure to how medical devices are designed, manufactured, tested, and brought to market while working alongside professionals in the field. This experience can help interns build valuable skills, network with industry experts, and improve their chances of securing a full-time role after graduation.

What types of projects and responsibilities can I expect during a medical device internship?

As a Medical Device Intern, you will typically be involved in a variety of hands-on projects that support product development, testing, or regulatory compliance. Interns often assist with tasks such as prototyping, data analysis, documentation for regulatory submissions, and collaborating with engineers or quality assurance teams.
