The Territory Manager for our ENT side of the business is responsible for selling and promoting PENTAX Medical products. This position drives revenue growth by developing new accounts and pushing territory expansion.
Responsibilities of Medical Device Sales - Territory Manager (Bay Area)
  • Achieve sales targets and quotas within a defined territory
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, and private practices specializing in otolaryngology
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including ENT physicians, surgeons, nurses, procurement staff, and hospital administrators
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and clinical evaluations to showcase product features, benefits, and value proposition
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's ENT product portfolio, including features, benefits, clinical applications, and competitive landscape
  • Provide product training and education to healthcare professionals, ensuring proper usage and understanding
  • Attend medical conferences, trade shows, and continuing education events to expand knowledge and network with healthcare professionals
  • Manage expenses and adhering to budget guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals, including assisting with product implementation, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing on-site support during procedures
  • Address customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, customer service, and technical support, to provide comprehensive support to customers
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and the company, relaying customer feedback and market insights.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and ethical guidelines related to medical device or pharmaceutical sale

Requirements of Medical Device Sales - Territory Manager (Bay Area):
  • A bachelor's degree required, biology, biomedical science or business
  • Prior sales experience, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation and negotiation
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and internal team members
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer needs
  • Identify and resolve customer issues effectively
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
