Schedule
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • 1-2 Saturdays per month, 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
About the Role

Westside Medical Supply is seeking a compassionate, customer-focused DME Solutions Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will help patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals find the durable medical equipment and services that best meet their needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll DoCustomer Service & Sales
  • Welcome and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Help patients and caregivers select appropriate medical equipment and supplies.
  • Demonstrate products and explain features, benefits, and proper use.
  • Identify opportunities to recommend complementary products that enhance patient outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships through outstanding customer service.
Insurance & Documentation
  • Answer questions regarding equipment availability, insurance coverage, and reimbursement requirements.
  • Verify insurance benefits and collect required documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Stay informed on Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and accreditation requirements.
Order Processing & Administration
  • Enter customer information, orders, and documentation accurately.
  • Prepare delivery paperwork, billing documentation, and supporting records.
  • Coordinate with Billing, Delivery, Technicians, and Sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Process payments, co-pays, deductibles, and private-pay transactions.
  • Maintain detailed customer account records and notes.
Showroom & Operations Support
  • Assist with showroom organization, merchandising, and inventory replenishment.
  • Participate in inventory counts and inventory management activities.
  • Attend department meetings, training sessions, and company events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Experience with Brightree, Nymbl, Housecall Pro, or similar healthcare software platforms.
