JOB SUMMARY:
This is primarily a Back Office position ,you will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vitals, charting, administering vaccines and specimen collection. Entering Information into a medical computer system, editing patient charts as needed, medication refills, referrals and creating lab orders. Candidate must be organized.
This is for a Back Office position. You will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vitals, charting, administering vaccines and specimen collection. Entering Information into a medical computer system, editing patient charts as needed, medication refills, referrals and creating lab orders. Candidate must be organized, courteous patient and professional. Ability to multitask is a must. Understanding patient confidentiality is of upmost importance. Must be able to work in fast paced environment. We are looking for someone that is highly motivated, attentive to detail, and a team player.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Familiarity with Medical office and/or terminology.
Must have professional Phone Etiquette, be professional in appearance and behavior
Ability to complete all aspects of the position in either English and or Spanish.
Willingness and ability to work closely and effectively with other team members
Pleasant personality. Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills are essential.
Must be comfortable in rooming patients in a courteous and professional manner.
Reliable and strong work ethic.
Ability to multitask, and properly room/assess/brief providers on multiple patients, often simultaneously.
Demonstrate ability to conform to HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
Have previous electronic medical record (EMR) experience/exposure is helpful
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from an accredited, verifiable medical assistantship program.
English/Spanish Fluency.
Ability to provide references as needed..
