Job description

This is a full time, 12 month fixed term position
  • Assist providers by functioning as a medical chaperone for providers completing a sensitive health exam/treatment.
  • Assist with room and equipment setup and are physically present
    to assist the provider and/or patient and visualize physical contact
    between the patient and provider during the sensitive health exam/treatment.
  • Schedules patient appointments, prepares patient charts and exam rooms, monitors patient flow, assists physicians with exams as needed.
  • Reviews and codes charge slips, submits insurance claims. Performs office duties.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures in place for sensitive health exams/treatment and for documenting their participation in the care according to applicable policies.

Minimum Education: High school or equivalent
Minimum Experience: 1 year, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience
Minimum Field of Expertise: Medical office management and medical secretarial experience.
