About the Role:
Universal Point Clinics in Ontario, CA is looking for a motivated and compassionate Front Office / Medical Assistant to join our growing team! This dual-role position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and loves making a difference for patients from the moment they walk through the door.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients, manage scheduling, and handle front desk operations
  • Verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, and process patient registration
  • Answer multi-line phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage appointment reminders
  • Assist clinical staff with patient rooming, vital signs, and medical histories
  • Perform phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and other clinical procedures as directed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) documentation
  • Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and prepared between patient visits
  • Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up care instructions
  • All office administration works
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical billing basics
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and front desk administrative procedures
  • Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills are a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must
