Overview
The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physicians' practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Solicit information regarding the nature of the patients visit; observe and record vital signs
  • Set up as directed for procedures and exams; assist physician as needed
  • Perform EKGs, vision, and hearing screens, nebulizer treatments, change dressing, remove suture and staples as needed
  • Perform lab tests as directed

Qualifications:
  • Graduation certificate from accredited LPN/RN school of nursing
  • 12 - 18 months related experience and/or training
  • LPN/RN License
  • Bilingual, preferred
  • EMR Experience, preferred
  • Prior Urgent Care experience, preferred
