About The Team

The Clinical Engineering team at Noah Medical is a critical partner within Product Development, shaping how clinical insight is translated into safe, effective, and impactful robotic solutions for patients and providers. Our team works crossfunctionally throughout the product lifecycle-from early concept and design through validation, and postmarket activities-ensuring that clinical needs, user requirements, and realworld workflows are embedded into development decisions. We lead preclinical evaluation strategies, design validation and human factors activities, and contribute to regulatory and quality system deliverables. By closely collaborating with engineering, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams, Clinical Engineering helps align product strategy with patient outcomes and business goals. A Day In The Life Of Our Sr. Clinical Engineer at Noah Medical

  • Develop internal expertise in clinical domains relevant to the company's products
  • Anticipate evolving end-user and patient needs during product development. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and validating pre-clinical evidence to evaluate and validate user needs and product changes. 
  • Own the creation supporting documentation during product development for the quality system and regulatory submissions 
  • Serve as a key clinical expert in design reviews, requirement definition, and product development strategy.  
  • Architect and oversee the pre-clinical evaluation strategy for multiple product development efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of clinical engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.   
  • Coach and consult during process improvement initiatives.   
  • Develop and implement robust clinical performance metrics to drive continuous product evaluation and improvement. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key regulatory bodies to stay informed of emerging regulations and industry trends. 
  • Conduct Post-Market Surveillance investigations related to Use Errors and Adverse Events 
  • Serve as a clinical subject matter expert in supporting post-market surveillance activities and risk management. 
  • Collaborate with Medical Education and Sales Training teams to provide relevant clinical and use information related to training material and processes 
  • Support the commercial use of the device 

 About You 

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a medical devices industry 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; Master's degree preferred 
  • Strong technical experience and aptitude 
  • Strong understanding of ISO 14971, 21 CFR Part 820 
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams. 
  • Knowledge of basic anatomy, clinical terminology, and general surgical techniques. 
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of robotics or electromechanical systems. 
  • Experience in the regulated medical device environment, including but not limited to document control processes, design control processes, protocol development, and report writing. 
  • Experience working with healthcare providers in a hospital environment   
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
