Urology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Vermont

Description

A healthcare organization located inRutlandis seeking anAdvanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)to join a collaborative urology care team. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality care for patients with a variety of urologic conditions.

Position Overview

The Urology APP will assist in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with urologic conditions in both outpatient and clinical settings. The provider will work under the supervision or collaboration of a urologist while helping deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations
  • Assist in diagnosing and managing urologic conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract disorders, prostate conditions, and male reproductive health issues
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
  • Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
  • Assist with minor procedures and follow-up care when appropriate
