We are looking for a Media Planner in Overland Park, KS, The Media Planner is responsible for end-to-end execution of digital media campaigns across a portfolio of travel accounts. The role will help develop integrated media plan strategy and must have a drive to deliver maximum and efficient value for our client's media investments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Thinking
  • Strong grasp of media planning fundamentals across all integrated media channels including traditional, digital and paid social
  • Understand and incorporate client data and marketing objectives into client media plans and assist in the development of client KPIs
  • Oversee and implement best practices regarding media planning, placement, tracking and reporting for assigned client portfolio
  • Tactically plan campaigns, vetting a clear vision on how tactical elements deliver on strategy
  • Monitor media trends and leverage media research, identifying new opportunities and innovation
  • With leadership from media portfolio lead and senior media team members, develop and present integrated media recommendations, evaluation and provide ongoing POVs
  • Ability to communicate and explain complex ideas to teams, clients, and advertising partners
  • Instruct opportunities for optimizations and insights for the internal team and client

Campaign Oversight
  • Work with the media portfolio lead and media managers to create and oversee facilitation of media RFPs
  • Monitoring performance of client campaigns in collaboration media and data teams
  • Working closely with performance and measurement team on website tagging structure and strategy, and overseeing tagging strategy, implementation and QA
  • Responsible for oversight of client reports, working with the performance analytics team, checking for accuracy, pacing and trends
  • Lead the execution & optimization of media campaigns, proactively anticipate issues and ensure all elements are launching accurately and on time
  • Leading internal team status meetings
  • Oversight of portfolio media plan and budget management, working closely with the SMM/MM/AMM on billing accuracy and ongoing accruals

Key Experience & Skills Needed
  • 3 years of experience in digital media/marketing or relevant experience with working planning knowledge across integrated media channels
  • Strong working knowledge media research, planning software and third-party tracking tools
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate internally and externally
  • Possess a strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility
  • Solid understanding of the principles of digital marketing and media concepts
