Job description

The Account Manager is a core driver of client success at The Moran Group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and relationships-someone who can move quickly between topics, keep details straight, and serve as a trusted extension of both the client and the Account Director.

Account Managers act as the connective tissue between clients and internal teams. You'll help translate client goals into clear plans, manage complex workflows, analyze performance, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks-all while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.

Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of full-time agency experience and proven client service experience.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary liaison between clients and internal agency teams
  • Manage day-to-day client communication with clarity, confidence, and professionalism
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively raise questions, risks, or opportunities

Project & Workflow Management

  • Oversee broadcast and digital projects from kickoff through launch
  • Request, review, proof, and coordinate approvals across creative, media, and production teams
  • Manage trafficking, timelines, and deliverables to ensure flawless execution

Meeting Preparation & Leadership

  • Prepare clear, well-organized client presentations aligned to a defined agenda
  • Confidently present materials to clients, with or without an Account Director present
  • Capture, distribute, and manage meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups

Performance & Results

  • Review, analyze, and communicate campaign results
  • Translate data into insights and recommendations, often within client-facing presentations
  • Use performance data to inform next steps and strategic decisions

Media, Offers & Compliance

  • Assist with budget management, including digital budgets, co-op, estimates, and reporting
  • Coordinate legal and offer approvals, including disclaimers, FTC guidelines, and state regulations

Research, Analysis & Strategic Support

  • Conduct data analysis and research to support strategy and planning
  • Jump between projects and subject areas efficiently without losing attention to detail

Task, Deadline & Team Management

  • Manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
  • Maintain strong organizational systems to track tasks, timelines, and approvals
  • Participate in training and support team development across roles
